Twice Central Guesthouse

Client — Twice Central Guesthouse · Sector — Hospitality · Scope — Brand, social retainer · Status — Ongoing

The Brand Bureau holds the brand and the monthly social presence for Twice Central Guesthouse, a seven-room boutique guesthouse in central Stellenbosch. The work runs from positioning through to the feed itself — written, scheduled and kept to one voice, month after month.

Why small hospitality is harder, not easier

A seven-room guesthouse has no marketing department and no margin for a bad month. Its social feed is not a channel; it is the front door, the brochure and the review page at once. And it is exactly the kind of work that gets handed to whoever has an hour free — which is how a distinct place ends up sounding like every other listing.

Consistency is the entire discipline. Not volume, not trends, not reach: the same voice, the same eye, the same standard, held for years.

What was done

  • Brand position and voice for the guesthouse, distinct from the group it belongs to but recognisably part of it

  • Monthly content written and scheduled across Instagram and Facebook, planned rather than reactive

  • Assets kept inside the wider group business portfolio, so the guesthouse benefits from the parent without being absorbed by it

  • One person writing every post, which is why it sounds like one place

The guesthouse sits inside the portfolio held for Swish Property Group — an example of brand architecture doing its job: a consumer-facing brand with its own character, sitting cleanly under a parent that means something different.
